Introduction

It’s important to the ETUDE project, to share research results and accumulated knowledge in as many ways as possible. So as part of the project, early-stage researchers got out of their comfort zone and conceptualized a video-based course on Functional Disorder (FD). The videos provide insights, and together with the work questions are meant as a resource to increase understanding of Functional Disorder. The sub-topics include definition as well as commonly held misconceptions, mechanisms and causes, treatment, the importance of communication in avoiding stigmatization, and ways to support children, adolescents, and adults with FD.

How to use the MOOC?

The MOOC exists out of different sections that focus on specific questions, misconceptions or common aspects of FD. To ge the most out of the ETUDE MOOC it is best to go through the videos by order. Below each video you will find Work questions that can help you reflect on the content of the video.
